Our bonding events are created to foster genuine connections, encourage vulnerability, and celebrate the unique essence of each member. Whether it's through game nights, retreats, or casual get-togethers, these moments help us strengthen our ties and build a lasting, empowering sisterhood rooted in trust, love, and support.
Galentine's Day
In celebration of love, sisterhood, and self-appreciation, the NC A&T Chapter of J.E.W.E.L.S., Inc. hosted a special Valentine’s Day Bonding Event designed to foster connection and community among our members. This event provided a space to relax, engage in meaningful conversations, and celebrate the many forms of love—especially the importance of self-love and mutual support within our organization. With themed activities, refreshments, and thoughtful moments of reflection, the event strengthened the bonds that define our sisterhood and reminded us of the value of unity, care, and togetherness.
Walking in Confidence
Walking in Confidence, presented in collaboration with Verge Modeling Troupe, was a powerful program focused on building self-esteem and presence both on the runway and in everyday life. Designed to help individuals overcome personal and societal barriers, the event emphasized that confidence—especially for those facing systemic challenges—is a form of resistance. Through movement, mentorship, and empowerment, participants were encouraged to walk boldly, lead with purpose, and show up unapologetically in every space they enter.
